Senior citizens are invited to celebrate Independence Day with a social event that includes games and prizes, entertainment, and refreshments. The three people with the favorite red, white, and blue outfits - judged by audience applause - will win prizes! No fee or registration, just come and enjoy!

Mooresville Town Square Festival on the Green
The Mooresville Town Square Festival on the Green will feature live independence-day entertainment, a veterans ceremony, kids zone, free parking and much more. Join us for an evening of family fun in advance of viewing the fireworks display from the Lowe’s YMCA. Convenient free parking and a grassy viewing pad will be provided for picnicking while enjoying the local fireworks display.

Fourth Annual Iredell County Independence Celebration parade
Fourth Annual Iredell County Independence Celebration parade 4th Annual Iredell County Independence Celebration Parade beginning at the Iredell County Fairgrounds in Troutman at 11am on Saturday, June 28, 2008. This year honoring Vietnam Era Veterans as Grand Marshals! Registration deadline as Grand Marshals and entries into the parade by churches, youth groups, civic groups, businesses etc is Friday, June 13, 2008. There is NO entry/registration fee and Veterans do NOT have to reside in Iredell County! The Independence Celebration Parade is hosted by the Town of Troutman and sponsored by the Marine Corps League Detachment #1097. Come back that evening for a spectacular FIREWORKS display provided by the Town of Troutman!
