Serves as an assistant district attorney in Iredell County.
Native of Statesville, and the daughter of Dr. Paul and Phebe Kirkman. She is married to Michael Lunsford, a deputy with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.
Graduated from Statesville HIgh School and received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her law degree from Campbell University.
Serves on the board of directors for the Dove House, the Rotary Club of Statesville/Fourth Creek, Criminal Justice Partnership Program for Iredell County and for Alexander County and Mooresville/South Iredell Crime Stoppers.
