Have you ever wondered what someone’s life is like in Iredell County? People ask me questions like, what are your daily activities? What defines Iredell county? What do I want this county to look like in ten and fifty years? And is what I want the county to look like the same as what it will be like?

Most of my activities consist of boating. In the summer, I love to boat. Everybody loves to ski and wakeboard on the lake. Most teenagers who boat every day cut flips. It’s amazing!

Mooresville is in Iredell County and it is know as Race City. Most NASCAR teams are located here. There are even museums filled with old race cars and suits of retired drivers.

Iredell County is a rapidly growing county. In ten years there will be ten times as many shopping centers as there is today. I’m guessing in fifty years this county will be very populated.

I hope in a few years people will build things that match. Unlike what it will look like if people keep building without looking at what others are doing.

That is what life is and will be like in Iredell County. Boating, NASCAR and growth. Hopefully, the new structures will match and enhance the old.
