Iredell county is a good place to live. If I did not live here I would not have participated in the many community activities. One community activity activity I enjoy is the downtown trick-or-treating on Halloween. I think it is a lot of fun to dress up and go trick-or-treating. It is also fun because I usually meet at least one or two of my friends there. I also enjoy the balloon festival. Though I have only been once, I remember enjoying the great food, exciting rides and watching the colorful ballons fly high in the sky.

I am also active in volleyball. It is good that I live in Iredell County because I have access to the I.C. Stars Volleyball club. It is a traveling team for all ages starting at 13 and going through 18, that goes to places for tournaments every other weekend. I think that is a lot of fun and if I didn’t live in Iredell County, I would have missed out on a great opportuinity.

Iredell County also has great places to eat. One of my favorite places is Sorrento’s Pizza. They have great pizza and awesome salads. I also enjoy the newly added Sonic. It is a great place to go if you want a snack or a light meal. Cozumel is another one of my favorites. It is a local resterant that has been there for years and has been great since the beginning! Another one of my favorites is Cook Out. It is also recently added, and is a great place to go if u want grilled out food, but don’t want to cook it yourself.

Another advantage of living here is it is very close to Carowinds. It is only about one hour away from Iredell County. So if you are like me and like a great and exciting amusement park, this is a great place for you.

The thing that I enjoy the most is, every summer me and my family become a member of the Statesville swim and racket club. I don’t play tennis but I do live to swim! It is a great place to swim and hang out during the summer.

Iredell County also has great movie theaters that show ther latest movies. They have great snacks and the enviorment inside is clean and inviting. It feels just like home!

So you see there are a lot of advantages to living in Iredell County. I hope you choose to live here some day. Trust me, you will enjoy it!
