‘I think over the years Iredell County will only improve’

There are many wonderful things about living in Iredell County. One of the best things we have is our movie theatre in Statesville called Marquee Cinemas. It is the best movie theatre I have ever been to for many reasons. The seats lean back so one can lounge around while watching the movie. Also, they have a very large assortment of food and snack. No matter what kind of food one likes one will probably find something one will eat. The best thing to me is that Outback is right beside it so after the movie one can go eat.

Some more fantastic things about Iredell County are our sports programs. We have a very large variety of sports. One can play soccer, baseball, basketball, golf, or one could do like me and take dance. I take dance from Tilley’s Dance Academy in Statesville. It is very fun to take dance from there. One can do tap, jazz, hip-hop, or ballet. They also have an adult hip-hop class which is very good also. One can really learn a lot taking dance from there.

We also have some amazing events. Some of the best events are the Balloon Rally, the Fair, Christmas Day Parade, Pumpkin Fest, and when the fireworks are shot for the public to see on the 4th of July. We have an event for almost every holiday. The best is probably the Balloon Rally because a lot of people come out and have fun together and there are rides and some hot air balloons. I also enjoy the Fair because we have some pretty awesome rides but a large variety of them. One can ride something from a gentle ride up to a thrill ride.

We also have a really nice location. There are many places out in the country or if one likes the city one can live there also. We aren’t under-populated yet we aren’t over-populated. We are somewhere in the middle which is perfect to us. There aren’t too many people to where you can’t move but there are still enough to have a pretty good amount of friends.

We also have some pretty good historical sites. We have from something involving history all the way to where a movie was filmed. One can go enjoy seeing Fort Dobbs because of its importance to Statesville or one could go see the Vance Hotel where George Clooney came for a movie.

In the future I think Iredell County will be pretty much the same if not better. We will probably get more, new, better restaurants with newer kinds of food. There will probably be more people than there are now and that will be good. I think over the years Iredell County will only improve and increase in its way of keeping people happy and will not decrease at all. I think Iredell County is a really amazing place to live!
