Statesville gives me a homey feeling inside. It does because when I wake up every morning I hear birds chirping not jack hammers, chain saws, and all types of construction. (Also Statesville isn’t crammed like Morrison Plantation.) Even though the wake up call is quite charming by far the best part is Down Town. It’s got antique shops and clothing stores for adults, toy shops, ice cream shops, skate shops, a pet shop…and more. When your done shopping, you can check out some of the amazing restaurants down town! Might I suggest Mayo’s, and Mezalluna’s?
Although the restaurants are amazing, we need something for people on the go like hot dog stands, because not everyone has time to sit down and eat. I’ve also heard complaints of broken street lights. I can’t tell you how it’ll work but I can tell you a solution, self-fixing traffic lights. But what Statesville needs the most out of all the things, is a Skate Park. I mean seriously, we have a skate shop but the closest park is down in Hickory. We’ve got tons of room near our soccer complex, plus all the skaters are tearing up the benches and rails. If we build a skate park we won’t be wasting Statesville’s money by buying new benches and rails!
