2007 schedule

Smokey Mountain Amusements will provide rides throughout the week. Unlimited rides are $15 per person on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights, as well as Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Rides are open from 5 p.m. to midnight, and beginning at noon on Saturday.

General admission is $5 each night, with shows from 5-11 p.m. Ages 6 and under are free. Parking in the Statesville Kiwanis lots is $2 per car.

Each night:

  • 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.: racing pigs
  • barnyard petting farm and bull racing

   
Monday, Sept. 3 (Wrist Band Night)
5 p.m.: gates open with free admission for all school children with passes

7 p.m.: opening ceremony and ribbon cutting

Tuesday, Sept. 4 (Wrist Band Night)
9 a.m.: Judging begins for all exhibits
5 p.m.: gates open with free admission for all school children with passes

5 p.m.: beef cattle show
6:30 p.m.: sheep show
7 p.m.: open and junior dairy cattle show

Wednesday, Sept. 5 (Wrist Band Night)
5 p.m.: gates open with free admission for all school children with passes
7:30 p.m.: Bullriding

Thursday, Sept. 6
7 p.m.: demolition derby
7 p.m.: open and junior dairy cattle show

Friday, Sept. 7
3 p.m.: junior dairy judging contest
7 p.m.: demolition derby

Saturday, Sept. 8
12 p.m.: gates open (wrist band from 12-5 p.m.)
AMRA lawnmower racing
