Voters in the unincorporated parts of Davidson Township and the Town of Troutman will decide on a mixed-drink referendum in the May primary.

Cocktail backers want issue on Troutman ballot
Efforts to try to recruit national and regional restaurant chains to Troutman were presented in conjunction with a request that the sale of mixed drinks or cocktails be allowed within the town limits. On Thursday night, the Troutman Board of Aldermen approved a consideration for a May voter referendum on that matter to allow Troutman residents to decide.
