Gregory adds name to mayoral race

Mooresville mayoral race just became competitive. Larry Gregory filed to become the second candidate for Mooresville mayor.

Gregory joins current Mayor Bill Thunberg in the mayoral elections.

A few miles north in Troutman, Betty Jean Troutman decided to run for the Board of Alderman for the first time. Troutman was appointed to the board in March 2006, to fill Charles Rectenwald’s expired term.

Charlie Nance filed for Love Valley Commissioner. Nance is the fourth incumbent to file for this board.

Filing ends today at noon.
