Iredell teams hit the road as playoffs openThree Iredell County schools will open the softball playoffs on the road this week. West Iredell (15-6), the No. 4 seed from the North Piedmont 3A, will play at 5 p.m. today at R-S Central. The Hilltoppers (18-4) are the top seed from the Southwestern 3A. Lake Norman (8-12), the NPC’s No. 5 seed, will play the first playoff game in program history against Hickory Ridge (18-3), the No. 1 seed from the South Piedmont 3A. In the 2A bracket, South Iredell (11-12), the No. 4 seed from the Southern Piedmont 1A-2A, will play at Forbush (20-4), the top seed from the Mountain Valley 2A. Bookmarkz |
