Lions fall in SPAA title game

FROM STAFF REPORTS
Statesville Christian fell in the finals of the South Piedmont Athletic Association tournament Monday, losing to SouthLake Christian 7-0.

The Lions closed out the regular season with a 9-8 record. They advanced to the title game with an overtime win over Gaston Day, which had previously won both regular-season meetings with SCS.
