Mooresville hopes to get revenge on FalconsBy BRAD NORMAN
The Blue Devils will have a home playoff game thanks to West Rowan’s 2-1 upset over Marvin Ridge in Friday’s first-round 3A playoff game. The Falcons defeated Mooresville 5-4 in the last regular season game. “It was senior night, and I rested two or three starters,” Mooresville coach Jeff Burchett said. “Take nothing away from West Rowan, West Rowan is playing good right now, and they’re a very strong five seed.” The Blue Devils advanced to the second round courtesy of a 6-4 win over Newton Foard.
