Vikings rack up regional qualifiersBy BRAD NORMAN Carly Couch and Courtney Saddler are seeded No. 1 in their respective events. Saddler’s time of 12.75 seconds in the 100-meter dash is best among 17 qualifiers and Couch’s 800-meter time of 2 minutes, 24.94 seconds is 12 seconds faster than anyone else in the regional. Michael Clarke qualified in the maximum of four events for South’s boys, and Tevin Ikard and Anthony Thwaites both qualified in three events. Bookmarkz |
