Bellingham, Hounds charging toward the topBy Brian Meadows
Statesville’s boys golf team moved into third place in the North Piedmont 3A standings this week. Dalyn Bellingham played well in the Greyhounds’ two matches. He finished first Monday at Mooresville Golf Course with a round of 35 and tied for third Thursday, when he carded a 38 at Statesville Country Club. Bellingham is ninth in the individual standings, 17 strokes behind Mooresville’s Josh Nelson with two matches remaining. The 18-hole NPC Tournament championship is Thursday at Warrior Golf Club in China Grove. Bookmarkz |
