Blue Devils baseball turns the cornerBy Brad Norman The Blue Devils’ 3-2 baseball win over Lake Norman on Friday was their second consecutive victory on the diamond. Sophomore Jon Crucitti, who hit the game-winning home run, said the victory was a carryover from the previous game against Cherryville. “Cherryville was a big turning point,” Crucitti said of the Blue Devils 9-5 victory. “We were down 4-0 in the first and got some consecutive base hits.
