Statesville Christian senior Brooke Christenbury has signed a national letter of intent to continue her volleyball career next season at Lenoir-Rhyne College.
A two-time South Piedmont Athletic Association player of the year, Christenbury was named All-County by the R&L and All-State in the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association.

Christenbury joins West Iredell senior Marrissa Church, the 2007 R&L county player of the year, as part of L-R’s 2008 recruiting class. They will play alongside former West Iredell standout Hannah Stewart.
