Club volleyball preps for tryoutsIt’s time once again to get serious once again about club volleyball. Race City Volleyball Club is once again proud to announced that it’s now making plans for its upcoming second season. RCV, a non-profit organization based in Mooresville, has scheduled tryouts for early next month. After a very successful inaugural campaign, during which each of its three teams won at least one tournament, the club is growing. This season, RCV is planning to field four regional teams and one local team. The club is comprised of girls is grades six and up who are serious about learning and enhancing volleyball skills while competing locally as well as regionally. An informational parent meeting will be held tomorrow (Thursday) in the Brawley Middle School cafeteria. It will be held beginning at 7 p.m. Additional details about the RCV as well as tryout information is also listed on the organization’s website at http://www.racecitysports.com.
