Club volleyball preps for tryouts
It’s time once again to get serious once again about club volleyball.
Race City Volleyball Club is once again proud to announced that it’s now making plans for its upcoming second season.
RCV, a non-profit organization based in Mooresville, has scheduled tryouts for early next month.
After a very successful inaugural campaign, during which each of its three teams won at least one tournament, the club is growing. This season, RCV is planning to field four regional teams and one local team.
The club is comprised of girls is grades six and up who are serious about learning and enhancing volleyball skills while competing locally as well as regionally.
Again this year, Nancy Dilks will be returning as the club’s coaching coordinator. Dilks is well respective in the volleyball arena as a result of guiding Mooresville Senior High’s program to three state high school championships during he 26 years as the head volleyball coach.
An informational parent meeting will be held tomorrow (Thursday) in the Brawley Middle School cafeteria. It will be held beginning at 7 p.m.
