Comer torches Red Devils againBy Brad Norman Newton-Conover’s soccer team must be sick of South sophomore Amanda Comer. Comer scored both South Iredell goals in last week’s 2-2 tie. It was just another successful game against the Red Devils. As a freshman, Comer used her top-notch speed to barely save a ball from going out of bounds. Her save resulted in a goal that gave the Vikings a 1-0 sudden-death win over Newton-Conover in the first round of the 2A playoffs. Bookmarkz |
