BOYS BASKETBALL: Southview Christian 31, Calvary Christian 29
Conquerors edge Calvary ChristianRhett Lippard beat the buzzer with the game-winning basket Tuesday and Southview Christian prevailed 31-29 over Calvary Christian. Calvary’s Caleb Vernon made the second of a two shot foul with six seconds left to tie the game. The Conquerors inbounded the ball to Lippard, who drove up court and knocked in a shot from about 19 feet as time expired. Lippard finished with 15 points to lead the Conquerors (2-1).
