Falcons coast by WarriorsFrom staff reports MT. ULLA—West Rowan dispatched West Iredell 12-4 on Friday to sweep the teams’ season series. Brian Romito was saddled with the loss. He threw 2 1/3 innings, allowing six runs on nine hits. He struck out two. West Rowan’s Jake Koontz earned the win. He allowed four runs on six hits, four walks and three hit batters. Koontz struck out seven. Leading the Warriors at the plate were Chase LeVan and Nathan Young. Each had two hits, including a double. LeVan drove in a pair of runs.
