Greyhounds extend winning streakFrom staff reports Statesville won its third straight match Wednesday, beating Northwest Cabarrus 7-2 in North Piedmont 3A play. The victory was the third in as many days for the Greyhounds (3-2 overall, 2-1 NPC). Tripp Hawkins led the way with wins at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles. Luke Gillis cruised to a win at No. 2 singles and paired with Hawkins for a doubles victory. Eli Miller and Kirk Williamson also won in both singles and doubles for the Greyhounds. Bookmarkz |
