Hounds duo qualifies for state tournamentBy Brian Meadows
The pursuit of another state title is over for Statesville’s boys tennis team, but not for a couple of its players. Doubles partners Luke Gillis and Tripp Hawkins won two matches 6-0, 6-1 Friday at the 3A West Regional. With the victories, they advanced to the state tournament, which will be held Friday and Saturday at the Burlington Tennis Center. Bookmarkz |
