Hounds stroll to easy win over VikingsFrom staff reports Statesville pitched a shutout Tuesday, winning every individual match to beat South Iredell 9-0. Tripp Hawkins and Luke Gillis each notched a pair of 8-0 wins. Hawkins beat Adam Beam at No. 1 singles, while Gillis beat Warren Boger at No. 2. Then Hawkins and Gillis paired up to beat Beam and Boger at No. 1 doubles. Eli Miller, Keegan Kimball, Kirk Williamson and Ben Cartner also won in both singles and doubles play for the Greyhounds.
