Statesville football coach Randall Gusler said William Marion is being pursued by several junior college programs, including Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, Calif.

Marion starred on offense, defense and special teams for the Greyhounds as a senior.

“He has loads of talent,” Gusler said. “He’s a really good kid. The way I look at it: God’s going to put him in the right place.”

Nine members of the 2007 Saddleback football team committed to play at four-year colleges this year.
