‘Kicks for Kids’ hope feet don’t fail them now

When they need them the most, JJ Morse Kicks for Kids scholarship finalists Michele Magnuson and Will Mack hope their feet are there when they take aim at final boots worth the winning of the available $1,000 payoff. During the course of the regular season, Magnuson and Mack were the lone participants to make good on their kicks taken during the short break between the third and fourth periods of every home varsity football game. As a result, they both advance into this (Friday) night’s finals. There, the one that makes good on the kick attempt will be the recipient of the JJ Morse Kicks for Kids prize that is set up to be used to help with college expenses. The one in the middle is veteran area real estate agent Morse, who will fill in the blank check with the winner’s name and make the presentation following the final kick tonight.
