Lake Norman holds on for narrow victoryFROM STAFF REPORTS The Wildcats also beat the Falcons by one goal, 2-1, in the teams’ first meeting. As was the case in that meeting, Lake Norman dominated possession Wednesday. The Wildcats (18-0-1, 15-0 North Piedmont 3A) had 19 shots on goal to just one for West Rowan. Hannah Graham scored the game’s only goal in the 32nd minute off an assist from Lyndsay Johnson. Mollie Zimmer recorded the shutout in goal for the Wildcats. Bookmarkz |
