Lake Norman takes over lead in Wachovia Cup race

Lake Norman leapfrogged Mooresville for the lead in the NPC Wachovia Cup standings following a strong winter sports season.

Winning league titles this spring in boys golf, girls soccer and boys tennis might be enough for the Wildcats to hold off Mooresville, which trailed Lake Norman by 52½ points through the winter season.
