Legion season gets underway tonightThe Statesville Owlz open the 2008 American Legion baseball season tonight against the Lake Norman Pirates. Game time is 7 p.m. at Bandys High School. The Owlz welcome the Pirates for their home opener Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for students. The Owlz will play their 11 home games this season at West Iredell High School. Mooresville’s American Legion team is scheduled to play at Cherryville in its season opener Saturday night. The Moors also have a road game at Denver before playing their home opener at 6 p.m. Monday against Denver. The Moors play their home games at Mooresville High School. Bookmarkz |
