Lions blank Northwood TempleOn the strength of James Dawson’s three-goal hat trick, Statesville Christian rolled to a 9-0 victory over Northwood Temple Academy on Saturday in the first round of the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association 1A state playoffs. Carter Cornelius pocketed a pair of goals for the Lions, who advance to the second round. They will play Tuesday at Ridgecroft School in Ahoskie. Devan Barlowe, Garrison Dale, Daniel DeGraff and Zach Monson each added a goal in Saturday’s rout. Bookmarkz |
