GIRLS BASKETBALL: Statesville Christian 69, Mooresville Christian 18
Lions make strong showing against Mooresville ChristianDrew Burgiss and Logan Bearfield combined for 43 points Monday to lead Statesville Christian to a 69-18 win over Mooresville Christian. Burgiss racked up 22 points and grabbed six steals as the Lions improved to 5-3 on the season. Bearfield added 21 points in the victory, while Katie Godsell had 14.
