BOYS BASKETBALL: Statesville Christian 43, Morganton Christian 26
Lions take invitational’s consolation finalDominating the first and third quarters, Statesville Christian rolled to a 43-26 win over Morganton Christian in the consolation final of the Southview Christian Invitational on Saturday. Katie Godsell led the Lions (3-1) with nine points. Logan Bearfield, who was named to the all-tournament team, added eight points. Drew Burgiss pitched in with six points to go along with her six assists. SCS outscored Morganton Christian 13-6 and 12-4 in the first and third quarters, respectively. Bookmarkz |
