Players leaving the team due to academics and family-related issues left the Vikings needing a few more outfielders.
“One of them is probably going to play outfield all the time,” Vikings coach Trey Ramsey said. “Josh Belk has a lot of speed; I hope we can get him ready offensively to put the ball on the ground and use his speed. I talked to both of them about how much work we need to get to them, and they’re excited.”
