North baseball doesn’t get the breaksBy Brad Norman
North’s baseball team couldn’t quite get what coach Matthew Poole was searching for in the season’s final week. “In this conference, you need some breaks,” Poole said. “You need some breaks, and you just can’t make mistakes.” Two mistakes cost the Raiders a critical game against Lake Norman. North won the season finale against South Rowan but didn’t catch a break in the end when Lake Norman defeated Northwest Cabarrus to clinch the North Piedmont 3A’s final playoff spot. Bookmarkz |
