SHS struggles out of the gateBy Brian Meadows The season got off to a rocky start for Statesville’s boys tennis team. The defending 3A state champion went 0-2 this week, losing 17 of the 18 individual matches played. One consolation: The Greyhounds didn’t lose to a pair of cupcakes. Newton-Conover was the 2A state runner-up last season, and Lake Norman finished second to Statesville in the NPC a year ago. Bookmarkz |
