South golf looks for consistentcyBy Brad Norman Sophomore and No. 1 player Clay Brown has been on target most of the year for South’s golf team. The Vikings expect to compete for the Southern Piedmont 1A-2A title, and a spot in the 1A-2A state championship match, provided everyone’s best game comes on the same day. “I think we just all have to play well at the same time,” Vikings coach David Foster said. “I’ve got kids that have the capability, it’s just doing it on a consistent basis.
