South soccer still aliveBy Brad Norman
There’s just something about South Iredell’s soccer team in the postseason. After advancing to the third round of the state playoffs last season as a wild-card, the wild-card entry Vikings defeated higher-seeded Ledford 3-2 in the first round Wednesday. South will play at conference foe North Lincoln in the second round Saturday. The Vikings lost to North Lincoln twice this year, but both games were 2-1 and one was in overtime. Bookmarkz |
