Statesville expects lots of homers at new ‘launching pad’By BRIAN MEADOWS Statesville sophomore Megan Bustle smashed two of the home runs, one of which nearly reached the tennis courts. “She tatered that one,” coach Bobby Morrison said. The outfield wall is 200 feet all the way around on most high school softball fields, but Statesville’s measures 195 feet, Morrison said. “It’s going to be a launching pad,” he quipped. Bookmarkz |
