Thompson multi-tasking in final semesterBy Brian Meadows Jared Thompson is pulling double duty. A strong discus thrower on the West track and field team, Thompson opted to join friends Nick Setzer and Tyler Tomlin on the Warriors boys tennis team this spring as well. “It’s my last semester,” said Thompson, who also plays football and basketball. “I wanted to do something different, have some fun with friends.” The senior occasionally plays doubles for the Warriors, and he said the two sports’ schedules are relatively accommodating.
