Three-way affair on tap

They’ll be taking care of business as often as three at a time during the course of Saturday evening’s Night of Champions in Mooresville’s National Guard Armory.

Courtesy of WrestleKings II Productions and Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, the grand floor in the armory will be transformed into a major professional wrestling ring in order to cater to a full night of championship-caliber grappling.

With a number of well-known wrestlers appearing on the night’s card, a Three-Way Dance involving some of the affair’s top entries will highlight the schedule.

The night’s main event will feature TNA superstar David Young, WCW standout Lodi, and WWE heavyweight The Phoenix Michael Youngblood all in the ring at the same time battling it out for last-man-standing bragging rights.

The one left as the winner from the affair will go on to wrestle in a 30-foot scaffold match at the Season’s Beatings that will take place in December for the WKCW World Title.

Festivities for the night begin when the doors open at 7 p.m. Bell time for the first of the night’s bouts is set for 7:30.

Also on tap is the battle to determine the best tag-team duo, with the likes of Phil Shatter and Truitt Fields teaming up to take on Abel Adams and Will Snapp.

A host of other individual and tag-team bouts are also on the night’s agenda.

The biggest winner from the night’s festivities will be the Soldiers Angel Foundation. A portion of the proceeds from the night’s gathering will go to benefit that organization that is in place to offer financial assistance to a fallen soldier’s family.

Roush Fenway Racing and Hooters are jointly sponsoring the night’s affairs.

Admission to the attraction is $10 at the door. All youth ages six and under will be admitted free of charge.
