Trojans (barely) break Wildcats’ NPC strangleholdFROM STAFF REPORTS Northwest Cabarrus totaled 155 strokes to eke out a one-stroke win over both the Wildcats and Mooresville on Thursday at Statesville Country Club. Statesville finished fourth with a 160. Northwest Cabarrus’ Chadd Marburger took individual medalist honors with a 34. Mooresville’s Josh Nelson continued his strong recent play with a 37, tying him for second with Lake Norman’s Joey Noone. Statesville’s Dalyn Bellingham tied for fourth with a 38.
