Vikings golfer Brown advances to state tourneyFROM STAFF REPORTS The Vikings shot a 328 as a team to finish in eighth place out of 10 teams, but Brown’s 73 tied him for third place overall. Ledford won the regional with a 299, and Newton-Conover (317) and Mt. Pleasant (318) also advanced to the 2A state championship. Brown joined West Stanley’s Brian Burgess and North Lincoln’s Russ Piercy as the three individuals to advance to the 2A state championship. Bookmarkz |
