LINCOLNTON — South Iredell demonstrated patience at the plate Monday, drawing 13 walks in a 10-5 win over Lincolnton.
Freshman Kayla Jones went 2-for-4 and drove in five runs for the Vikings. Laci Graney went 3-for-4 and senior Amber Graney contributed to the run total by walking three times.
Kelsey Spangler picked up the win, striking out eight batters and allowing 11 hits.
