Rowan Rampage quarterback D’Andre Hopper threw a touchdown pass, ran for another schore and kicked a 27-yard field goal on Saturday in an 18-12 win over the Iredell Warriors.
Despite closing the regular season with a loss, the Warriors (9-2) will be the No. 2 seed in the Central Carolina Football Conference playoffs, which begin in two weeks.
Iredell quarterback Roger Alexander was impressive, completing 10 of 19 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
The Warriors, who won the CCFL title last season, will open the playoffs on Oct. 20 at home against the Carolina Bulldogs.
