Warriors gear up for FalconsBy Brian Meadows West’s softball team, winner of three straight, plays Friday at West Rowan. “That’s a big game,” Warriors coach Tiffany Haynes said of the matchup with the six-time NPC champions. West Rowan is second in the league with two losses. The Warriors (8-5, 7-4 NPC) lost 2-0 in the teams’ previous meeting. “It should be pretty close,” said Haynes, whose team clubbed South Rowan 12-2 on Tuesday. “Our hitting has started to come around.” Bookmarkz |
