Warriors have the need for speedBy Brian Meadows West track and field coach Robert Thompson is pleased with the group of sprinters he has on his boys team this season but noted the lack of “flat-out burners” the Warriors are accustomed to having. Bobby Morrison, who has 4.4 speed in the 40-yard dash, would have made a huge difference, but the senior opted not to run track again this season. “I wasn’t going to push him to do it, either,” Thompson said.
