Warriors hop back above .500From staff reports CHINA GROVE — Hannah Pennell threw a complete-game shutout and Kendayl Waugh and Kaylyn Chapman each had two hits to lift West Iredell to a 3-0 win over Carson on Wednesday. Pennell struck out 12 and allowed three hits. Hannah Withers tripled and drove in a run, and Kara Dawkins and Chapman each had an RBI. The Warriors (6-5, 5-4 NPC) return to action today when they host Lake Norman. The Wildcats won 2-1 in the teams’ first meeting. Bookmarkz |
