Warriors rally in seventh to stun Trojans

Will Feimster drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning Friday night as West Iredell rallied to knock off Northwest Cabarrus 9-8.
The Warriors needed two runs in the seventh to overtake the Trojans, who scored three times in the top half of the inning.
Josh Clark’s pinch-hit single scored the tying run.
Feimster finished with two singles, a double and two RBIs.
Brennan Daniels earned the win. He pitched the final three innings, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks. He struck out a pair.
Sam Laws started for West (7-13, 4-11 NPC). He allowed three runs on five hits in two innings of work.
Hunter Dishman also threw two innings for the Warriors, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks.
Ethan Suarez aided the winning cause with two singles and an RBI, and teammate Nathan Young drove in a pair.
Cody Clanton, Michael Gatton and Michael Krueger each pitched in with a hit. Gatton smashed a solo home run in the second inning.
