Warriors standout LeVan to join WingateFrom staff reports West Iredell’s Chase LeVan has signed to play college baseball at Wingate. As a senior, the second baseman batted .397 with an on-base percentage of .561. As a junior, LeVan was named All-County and All-North Piedmont 3A after batting .392 with a .533 on-base percentage, 24 runs scored and 20 runs batted in. “He loves the game and has been a joy to coach,” Warriors coach Buck Gatton said. “Chase is a great example of how hard work can pay off.” Bookmarkz |
