West golfer cracks top-20 in NPC standingsBy Brian Meadows James Malzi shot a 41 on Monday at Mooresville Golf Course to move to 19th in the North Piedmont 3A individual standings. Malzi is 13 strokes outside the top 10 with three matches to play. The Warriors have two nine-hole events left, including today’s match at Statesville Country Club, before playing the 18-hole NPC tournament championship at Warrior Golf Club in China Grove.
