Wildcats blank another opponent to advanceFROM STAFF REPORTS
The Wildcats (17-0) beat St. Stephens 9-0 in the first round, but will get a stiff test next Tuesday when they take on Hickory, a 5-2 winner Tuesday over Asheville Roberson. Lake Norman won all 12 singles games against the Blackhawks (14-4). Andrew McKinnon, Trey McKee, Timmy Johnson, Matt Dowell and David Dyer each won in convincing fashion. Senior Taylor Burton had a bit more of a test at No. 5 singles, but held off Christian Bridges 7-5, 6-4. Bookmarkz |
